Insurance Professionals of Northern Kentucky (IPNK) (previously NKAIW) was formed in April 1983 and chartered with the National Association of Insurance Women (International) in August 1983. The goals of NAIW and IPNK are to promote insurance education, to support the professional advancement of its members, to cultivate fellowship within the association and to strengthen loyalty to the industry.

IPNK is a very active group of insurance professionals. Since our formation we have been involved in many activities within our industry and within our communities. In keeping with our goal to promote insurance education, we have kept our members abreast of insurance classes and seminars being held within the tri-state area. We have sponsored several seminars, promoted safety throughout our communities such as CPR classes, seat belt safety, fire safety, personal safety, prom night safety and fatal vision safety. 

Our legislative committee keeps our members up to date about pending insurance legislation and encourages all of us to vote. Our members are also active on a state, regional and national level. We have had representation at every state meeting, regional conference and national conventions since our existence. Several IPNK members have also held offices and committee chairmanship on both state and regional level.
